Best Prop Firms in Pakistan: Rules, Payouts and Cost, funded trading guide

Pakistan is the second biggest market this blog serves, behind only India. The short answer for anyone searching from Karachi, Lahore or Islamabad: the strongest option is the SFX Funded 2-Step Challenge at $5.20 of entry fee per $1,000 of account, because it charges the least per dollar of buying power and pays out on demand rather than on a calendar. Here is the proof, plus the local details a generic ranking leaves out.

This is SFX Funded's own blog, so there is no pretending to be neutral. We appear first because we charge less per $1,000 than the other firms here, not because we wrote the article.

New to funded trading? New to funded trading? Read our prop firms guide for Pakistan first. It explains how the accounts, the rules and the payouts work, without any rankings. This page is the comparison.

The best prop firms in Pakistan at a glance

The easy comparison is price. The useful comparison is price per $1,000 of buying power, because two firms can advertise the same entry fee and hand you different account sizes.

FirmEntry accountEntry priceCost per $1,000Daily / max lossPayout cycle

* Competitor figures were verified on the firms' own live pages on 18 August 2026 and are promo prices. Only SFX shows its standard price in brackets. SFX figures are correct as at 15 October 2026. Prices and promotions change, so check the live pages before you buy.

Read the cost per $1,000 column and the order settles itself. FTMO asks about $9.70 of entry fee for every $1,000 of account. SFX asks $5.20, and that fee comes back alongside your fifth successful profit split.

Three things fall out of that table before we go any further:

  • Price alone tells you nothing. A $29 fee on a $5,000 account costs more per $1,000 than a $39 fee on a $7,500 account.
  • Payout timing is worth more in Pakistan than the headline split. A high split paid monthly is worth less than a slightly lower split paid on request.
  • Only one firm on this list guarantees the payout window in writing. SFX pays $1,000 extra if a requested payout takes longer than 48 hours.

Why Pakistani traders look at prop firms

Two reasons, and neither is about the marketing.

The first is capital. To trade a $10,000 position from your own account you need $10,000 of your own money parked in a broker account, exposed to every bad week you have. That is roughly PKR 2.77 million at the rate used further down. A funded account asks for a fee the size of a monthly bill and gives you the same buying power, which is the case you can start with a 2-step challenge.

The second is currency. Prop firms settle in dollars. A payout that looks modest on a US website is a different number once it reaches a Pakistani bank account, which is why payout method and payout speed matter more here than a headline profit split.

What that means in practice:

  • You are not growing a small local account into a living. You are proving a skill and getting paid for it.
  • Your risk is capped at the evaluation fee, not at your savings.
  • Your upside is measured in dollars, not rupees.
  • Your trading day is fixed by the session clocks, covered below.

Money, cards and the rules that matter in Pakistan

This is the section most rankings skip, and it is the one that decides whether funding works for you at all.

Who regulates what

Two regulators share the job, and knowing which is which saves confusion.

  • The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) handles currency flows, cards and outward remittances. Anything about moving money in and out of the country is an SBP matter.
  • The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) oversees brokers and market conduct, and keeps the list of authorised brokers and licensed investment advisers.

The USD 30,000 annual card limit

If you plan to pay for an evaluation with a Pakistani card, this is the rule that catches people out.

  • SBP allows card-based international transactions of up to USD 30,000 per person per year, and that ceiling covers every card you hold across every bank, not one card.
  • The limit is per individual, so three debit cards and one credit card share the same $30,000.
  • If you exceed it, international transactions on your cards are suspended. The allowance resets on 1 November.
  • Most Pakistani cards also start with international transactions switched off. Open your banking app and enable them before your first payment attempt.

For an evaluation fee of $39 to $79, the annual ceiling is not a constraint. The card toggle is. Source: SBP Exchange Policy Department directive FEC7 of 2022.

Buying foreign currency, and the limits that apply

If a card is not your route, exchange companies are the other channel residents use, and they work to published limits.

  • Up to USD 10,000 per person per day for buying foreign currency, in cash or as an outward remittance, from all exchange companies combined.
  • Up to USD 100,000 per person per calendar year on the same basis.
  • An undertaking is required for any single transaction above USD 1,000, confirming you have not already used the yearly allowance.

Your bank has its own annual allowance for individual remittances, and it is best confirmed directly rather than assumed. One short conversation with your bank settles it. Source: SBP Exchange Companies Manual, FEC8 of 2021.

What the SECP has said about offshore platforms

In April 2025 the SECP cautioned the public about unlicensed offshore trading platforms that offer forex, commodities, options and other speculative products without regulatory approval in Pakistan. The regulator noted that such platforms operate without local licensing or oversight, and that funds sent to them sit outside any Pakistani recovery process. It named one platform and referred the matter to the FIA and the PTA.

That warning is worth understanding properly, because it draws a line that matters for funded trading.

  • An unlicensed offshore broker holds your deposit. If it disappears, you have no local recourse.
  • A prop firm does not hold your capital. You buy access to a simulated account under published rules, and the firm pays you a share of the profit you make on it. Every SFX account is simulated capital in a simulated trading environment.
  • The distinction is the whole reason funded trading exists, and it is why the checks below matter more than the marketing on any website.

What a prop firm actually is

If you have never used one, here is the plain version.

  • You pay a fee. That fee buys access to a simulated account with real rules and a real payout schedule.
  • You trade that account against a profit target and a maximum loss. Hit the target and you move forward. Break the loss limit and the account is finished or reset.
  • Once you are funded, you keep a share of the profit, from 85% up to 100% at SFX, or you can skip the evaluation entirely with instant funding.
  • The firm is not holding your money and you are not depositing capital. You are paying for access to an account, and the reward is a share of what you make on it.

What that means is simple. Your downside is the fee. Your upside is a payout measured in dollars.

Session timing for Pakistani traders

Where the sessions land in PKT

Pakistan Standard Time is UTC+5, which puts Pakistani traders in a good seat for the two sessions that carry most of the daily range.

  • London: opens at 12pm PKT, runs to about 8:30pm PKT.
  • New York: opens at 6:30pm PKT, runs until roughly 1am PKT.
  • The overlap: 6:30pm to 8:30pm PKT, usually the busiest and cleanest liquidity window of the day.

How session timing changes your risk

  • The overlap lands after the Pakistani workday, so a trader with a job can trade the session that matters without staying up.
  • The 6:30pm open is the most volatile hour. Position size matters more there than anywhere else in the day.
  • If your only available window is late evening, you are trading into the New York afternoon, which is thinner and prone to sharp reversals.
  • SFX has no time limit on the evaluation and you can hold trades overnight and over the weekend, so your session choice is yours rather than the firm's.

How funding works: account, fee, platform, rules

The routes compared

Three structures exist across the industry, and every firm here offers at least one.

  • Two-phase: two profit targets, one account. Cheapest entry, most time on the clock.
  • One-phase: a single target, wider daily loss limit. Costs more, finishes faster.
  • Instant: no target at all. You get a funded account immediately, with tighter loss limits and a slower payout cycle.

What each SFX program asks of you

ProgramEntry fromAccount sizeProfit targetDaily / max lossTime limitProfit split
2-Step Challenge$39$7,500 to $180,0008% then 5%4% / 8%None85% to 100%
Rapid Challenge$79$15,000 to $180,0003% single phase3% / 4%NoneUp to 100%
Instant Funding$54$5,000 to $180,000None3% / 6%NoneUp to 100%

On the 2-Step and Rapid programs you can request a payout as soon as you are eligible, with nothing to wait out first. Instant Funding settles on a bi-weekly cycle and does not pay out during the evaluation phase, which is worth knowing before you choose it.

Funding scale and profit split

  • Splits at SFX run from 85% up to 100% as you scale. The funded forex breakdown compares the two evaluation programs side by side.
  • Rewards are requested on demand, so you time the payout rather than a firm-set date.
  • The evaluation fee is refunded alongside your fifth successful profit split.
  • Accounts can be reset rather than abandoned when a phase goes wrong.

Platform facts to verify

  • Which platform the account runs on, and whether it is the one you already trade.
  • Whether expert advisors are allowed. At SFX they are.
  • Whether you can hold overnight and over the weekend. At SFX you can.
  • What happens to an account at the loss limit, and what a reset costs.

Payment and payouts from Pakistan

The order of operations matters here. Settle the money side before you think about the strategy.

  • Paying in: enable international transactions on your card, then check whether your bank applies a foreign exchange mark-up on the conversion.
  • Paying in, alternative: exchange companies are the published channel for buying foreign currency, within the daily and annual limits above.
  • Getting paid: SFX pays by bank transfer, crypto and other supported methods. Confirm which route reaches your account before you start.
  • Timing: the average SFX payout lands in under 8 hours, and a payout not processed within 48 hours gets $1,000 added to it.

If you are comparing firms across the region, the Morocco guide uses the same method for a different market.

Your Pakistan check card

Three ticks before any money moves. This is the short version of everything above.

  • Tick the card. International transactions enabled in your banking app, and remember the USD 30,000 yearly allowance is per person across every card you hold.
  • Match the channel. Card, or exchange company. Know which one you are using, and its daily and annual limits.
  • Know the numbers. The fee you are paying, the account size it buys, and the payout route that reaches your bank.

Three ticks and you are ready to choose a firm. Miss one and you find out at the worst possible moment, which is after you pass.

What to check before you pay any firm

Run this list against any firm, including us.

  • Can the firm show written payout terms, not just a marketing page?
  • Is there a named guarantee with a consequence, or only a promise of speed?
  • How do they pay into Pakistan, and how long does it actually take?
  • What is the exact maximum loss rule, and is it measured on balance or on equity?
  • What does the fee buy, and is any part of it refundable?
  • Does the platform run on something you already know?
  • Can you find reviews from traders you can verify, not just testimonials on the firm's own page?

The SFX Funded case

Track record

  • 32,000+ funded traders across 130+ countries, Pakistan included.
  • More than $3.5M paid out, with an average payout of $1,132.
  • Payouts average under 8 hours, and a requested payout not processed within 48 hours gets $1,000 added.
  • 4.85/5 across trader reviews.

Programs and pricing

  • 2-Step Challenge from $39 for a $7,500 account. The cheapest route to a funded account and where most traders should start.
  • Rapid Challenge from $79 for a $15,000 account, one phase, wider loss allowance.
  • Instant Funding from $54 for a $5,000 account. No evaluation, start immediately.

The payout route from Pakistan

  • Payouts are requested on demand, not on a fixed calendar.
  • Supported methods include bank transfer, crypto and other routes. Confirm which suits your account first.
  • The 48-hour guarantee is written, and the $1,000 top-up for missing the window is paid, not promised.

Who prop trading is wrong for

Being straight about this saves people money.

  • Anyone treating the fee as an investment. It buys access to a simulated account. The reward comes from trading, or not at all. Our trader reviews show what that looks like in practice.
  • Anyone who cannot fund the fee without strain. $39 to $79 is real money in Pakistan. If losing it would hurt, the evaluation is not the right purchase.
  • Anyone looking for a fixed income. Payouts follow performance, and performance is uneven.
  • Anyone unwilling to trade a loss limit exactly as written. The rules decide whether an account survives, not conviction.
  • Anyone who needs the money within a month. Building a payout history takes longer than that.

How to get started from Pakistan

  1. Enable international transactions on your card, or confirm your exchange-company route.
  2. Ask your bank how the payout will land and what it needs from you. Do this before you pay anything.
  3. Choose the program that matches where you are. New to funded accounts: the 2-Step. Proven edge: Rapid. Already profitable and want to skip the evaluation: Instant Funding.
  4. Read the program rules on the firm's own page in full. Loss limits are the difference between passing and donating.
  5. Plan your sessions around 6:30pm to 8:30pm PKT, the London and New York overlap.
  6. Set a fixed daily loss you walk away on, and treat it as part of the rules.
  7. Request your payout the moment you are eligible. The 48-hour clock starts when you ask.

FAQ: prop firms in Pakistan questions answered

  • Do prop firms accept traders from Pakistan?

Yes. SFX Funded funds traders across 130+ countries including Pakistan, and payouts are made in dollars. Acceptance is rarely the problem. The payout route is what needs confirming first.

  • Is prop trading legal in Pakistan?

The SECP regulates brokers and market conduct and maintains a list of authorised brokers and advisers, and the SBP controls currency flows. Funded trading works differently from depositing with a broker: you pay a fee for access to a simulated account under published rules and are paid a share of the profit, rather than handing your capital to a firm to hold. The SECP has cautioned the public about unlicensed offshore platforms, so verify any firm's terms and payout route before you pay.

  • How do I pay for an evaluation from Pakistan?

Usually by card. Enable international transactions in your banking app first, because most Pakistani cards start with them switched off. SBP allows up to USD 30,000 per person per year in card-based international transactions across all your cards combined, which is far above any evaluation fee here. Exchange companies are the published alternative for buying foreign currency.

  • How much is an evaluation in rupees?

At roughly PKR 277 to the dollar as at 15 October 2026, the SFX 2-Step at $39 is about PKR 10,800, and it buys a $7,500 account worth roughly PKR 2.08 million. FTMO's EUR 89 entry is about PKR 26,800 for a $10,000 account. Convert the fee against the account size, because that ratio is what you are buying.

  • What are the best trading hours in Pakistan?

Pakistan Standard Time is UTC+5. London opens at 12pm PKT and runs to about 8:30pm. New York opens at 6:30pm PKT and runs until roughly 1am. The overlap from 6:30pm to 8:30pm is usually the busiest window, and it falls right after the working day.

  • How fast are payouts and can I request them anytime?

At SFX rewards are requested on demand, the average payout lands in under 8 hours, and a requested payout not processed within 48 hours gets $1,000 added. Confirm which payout method reaches your Pakistani account before you start.
